Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of WordPress websites.
- Customize WordPress themes and leverage plugins to enhance functionality.
- Utilize the page builder (example: Elementor) to create engaging and responsive pages.
- Conduct routine maintenance and updates for existing websites.
- Optimize websites for performance, speed and search engine rankings.
- Work collaboratively with team members on project requirements and design consistency.
- Test website performance across various browsers and devices.
- Continuously learn and apply new web technologies and best practices.
- Perform any other related ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management from time to time.
- To adhere to the company's Code of Conduct, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Students with good results are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field. An associate degree or diploma in web development or a related discipline can also be acceptable.
- Familiarity with WordPress, its themes, and plugins.
- Experience with Elementor page builder is highly desirable.
- Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SEO and responsive design principles.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Canva for web design graphics is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Able to deliver under pressure and tight deadlines
