The 2026 LiKES grant by TalentCorp introduces transformative updates to empower Malaysian businesses. Designed to ease financial constraints while building robust talent pipelines, the enhanced 2026 structure features a new upfront RM2,000 Advance Grant and a significantly increased 50% matching reimbursement capped at RM850 monthly. With expanded coverage for up to 12 months, these changes offer unprecedented flexibility and support to help employers manage operational costs and hiring needs effectively.
Two tiers based on qualification level
For 2026, the reimbursement cap has been significantly increased. TalentCorp will reimburse 50% of the monthly allowance, now capped at a maximum of RM850.00 per intern, per month.
Eligible employers receive RM2,000 upfront for internships of at least 4 months starting from March 2026 (limited to the first 5 interns).
For internships between 2.5 to 12 months, employers can claim 50% of the allowance paid.
Each employer can claim for a maximum of 10 interns in total.
